Greenpoint's Huge Beer Hall; Westway Finally Approved; More!

This week's top dish from Eater NY, Curbed's restaurant, bar, and nightlife blog...

1) Greenpoint: Epic summer brewdog update. Spritzenhaus, the new beer gardensih bar from Spitzer's Corner's Rob Shaliman in Greenpoint, is taking shape, and it is massive. There will be 25 beers on tap at four different stations.

2) West Village: Community approval has finally arrived for Westway, but we're not talking about the controversial highway plan of yore. This Westway was first envisioned as some sort of hipster strip club, but has since been toned down a bit. Watch out, Clarkson Street.

3) Williamsburg: South Williamsburg Asian BBQ sensation Fatty 'Cue was shuttered by the DOH for one of the worst inspections we've seen in a while. The restaurant was named "Best New Brooklyn Restaurant" earlier this week.

4) Prospect Lefferts Garden A five-month-old comfort food spot called The Blue Roost has been robbed twice in the past two weeks. Insert gentrification commentary.
