After a housing hunt so epic we can't quite believe it's over, it looks like Jennifer Aniston's move to 299 West 12th Street is pretty much confirmed. The deed for the sale of Sally Hershberger's 1BR Penthouse C in the building hit public record this morning for $4,950,000. That's about a million dollars less than the $5.9 million the celebrity hairstylist was seeking. Aniston's name doesn't appear on the deed, but the deal was done by Bruce Lagnese, a money manager-to-the-stars who has handled all of Aniston's deeds in the past. (UPDATE: The Observer points out that the deed is adorably in the name of Norman, Aniston's Corgi-terrier mix.) The two 17th-floor units she was purportedly buying in the building haven't closed yet.
