Newest SSam Bar; A Rooftop Farm/Restaurant for the W'Vill?; More!

This week's top dish from Eater NY, Curbed's restaurant, bar, and nightlife blog...

1.) East Village: The old Momofuku Milk Bar space got turned into the latest Ssam Bar. Their newest obsession? Duck. Score.

2.) West Village: Josh Pickard, who helped open The Dutch is looking to open a farm/restaurant on the roof of 609 Greenwich Street in the West Village. A lot of locals are in a tizzy over it, fearing that it will lower their property values. Looks like things are going to get interesting when his plan goes to the Community Board next month.

3.) After a delay, it looks like the Highliner, located at the old Chelsea Diner space is almost open. They're only serving cocktails right now, but they expect to have a menu by next week.

4.) West Village locals are ruining all the fun yet again. This time they came out against a proposal for a very pleasant sounding plaza made with granite blocks, bike racks and plants. Their reasoning? Of course, only the wild drunks will use the space!
