Happy, er, five-year anniversary to the lawsuit at 1504 Eighth Avenue, the South Slope building hit with a vacate order after massive cracks were found along the facades. Blogger IMBY checks in and discovers that the vacate order is still in effect and the building owner is still pursuing a legal case against the Armory Plaza building next door, the construction of which allegedly caused the cracks at 1504 Eighth Avenue. The fact that this is all still going on is hardly the oddest twist in the story. [IMBY]
