Creative reinterpretations of the New Museum are nothing new, but here's a twist on the meme. Design companies Terreform One and Planetary One are hoping to build housing out of mushrooms. To demonstrate the process, they created a mushroom replica of the New Museum. The process took only 10 days, according to Inhabitat, and it involved putting the fungus "in a mold with a mixture of oak pellet fuel, wheat bran, gypsum, and hydrogen peroxide to produce a fine matrix of material with structural properties conducive for use as a construction material." Is it too late to give this a hell yes?
