Inside Chelsea Death Star's Rentals Turned Condos

New, 9 comments

Rain postponed the launch shindig planned for 305 West 16th Street last night. But the Chelsea Death Star's tractor beam had us locked in, so we headed over to the broker/press preview to take a look at the rental apartments turned condos. The first phase of nine units, asking between $490,000 and $1.35 million, is on the market, and our snaps of a 1BR and a 2BR model, plus the gym, the garden, and the roof deck, are in the gallery above. (As usual, pardon the amateur photography.) It's all overseen by cheerful Burning Man transplant "Perhaps." There were two units in contract as of last night.
