The Hotel Williamsburg, the pool party palace of North 11th Street, is supposed to add a pinch of the Meatpacking District to McCarren Park this month. However, the condo portion of the complex, dubbed The Residences at The Williamsburg, kicked off closings in March. So far two have reached public record, both 586-square-foot 1BR/1BA units, for $445K and $456K. But we know more apartments than that have closed, because a 2BR/2BA unit, #3H, is already back on the market as a rental.
The 910-square-foot apartment, seen above, is going for $4,200 per month. The asking price when it was for sale was $727,000, per StreetEasy. There's also a 1BR rental currently going for $2,600 per month. Brownstoner just dropped by the building and noted that the scaffolding is gone. And orange ya glad they did...
As for the apartments, the kitchens sure look nice. They even inspired this bit of excellent brokerbabble on the $4,200 rental listing: "In the kitchen, Liebherr and Bosch stainless steel appliances, white quartz counters, and imported, customized European Lineadecor cabinetry with white back painted glass cabinets and frosted glass backsplash await your culinary skills or those of your caterer."
