Archicritics

Times architecture critic Nicolai Ouroussoff visited Cronocaos, the Rem Koolhaas/OMA exhibition at New Museum neighbor 231 Bowery. And he's drinking the Kool-aid (sorry), mostly because Koolhaas's awesomeness keeps it interesting: "The New Museum show is essentially a manifesto, of course, but what saves it from becoming pure polemic is that Mr. Koolhaas is a first-rate architect as well as an original thinker" who hopes "to liberate architecture just a little from stale ideas." No mention of whether Ouroussoff took a postcard. [NYT]
