And now, the latest from Racked NY, covering shopping and retail from the sidewalks up.
1) UWS: Joining the city's houseware shopping options is HomeGoods, which just debuted at the UWS's Columbus Square. This might not stop the local eyerolls.
2) East Village: The Third Avenue flagship of Kiehl's has a 1934 motorcycle inside. It's part of the store's anniversary celebration, but it's actually tame compared to the airplane that was once inside the store.
3) Tribeca: Lady Gaga's stylist is opening his own pop-up shop this fall. He's currently hunting for an architect, and his ideas are, ah, quirky: he wants to include nature, digital space, minimal space, and a punk rock vintage store.
