Looks like the chickens are winning the gentrification war in Greenpoint. It's been over two years since the Canvas Lofts on Franklin Avenue have been cursed with the slaughterhouse next door, and things don't seem to getting better. Tenants are moving out, with a sign on the front saying “The chickens are driving me crazy!” We call fowl! Common sense dictates that if you live next to a slaughterhouse, there will be slaughtering.
