Noise Wars

Following the neighborhood rage-owner concessions cycle at Prime 6, Barclays Center-area residents turned their attention to 604 Pacific Street, the falafel joint/pizzeria/sports bar/gastropub also aiming for arena crowds. Community Board 6's Public Safety Committee approved 604 Pacific's liquor license last night, but in exchange for what appear to be even more concessions than at Prime 6. There will be no dancing, no outdoor space, signage asking patrons not to gather on the street, security guards, and a 24-hour business number for residents' complaints. The two sides are still hashing out the hours. ['Stoner]
