The townhouse at 153 Franklin Street in Tribeca got PriceChopped back in December because it hadn't found its perfect match at an ask of nearly $15 million. Now it has, and that match is...Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the former International Monetary Fund managing director charged with sexually assaulting a hotel housekeeper. (Previous house arrest location: 71 Broadway.) The Times and pretty much every other publication on the planet report that Strauss-Kahn moved into the new place last night. The house, with a recent Leopolodo Rosati renovation, a bar, a home theater, and a spa steam bath, rents for $50,000/month. There are worse places to be spending a house arrest.
