The church/club-turned-marketplace that opened last year as the Limelight mall, full of about 40 individual retailers, is ending its grand experiment. Instead, it will relaunch in September with many of the retailers gone. "You could call it basically a department store," explains owner Jack Menashe. "It's not unlike Barneys." Except that the walls will be darker, the lights dimmer, and the mood...moodier. And Grimaldi's will stick around for the Limelight's next incarnation. Keeping that late-night feel alive?
