DDG Partners' plans for a new 11-story building were revealed last year, and a tipster reports that the old buildings currently on the site are getting cleared out something fierce these days. CHINATOWN?An interesting commercial real estate deal just went down: United American Land, the Laboz family firm, acquired the mortgage and deed on 408 Broadway (the home of Spin magazine) for $28.7 million. The Laboz brothers developed the celeb-heavy Soho Mews on West Broadway and have been behind many of the recent changes at the Fulton Mall in Brooklyn.
