The CIM Group and Harry Macklowe are keeping their 70-story Park Avenue tower under wraps for now, but the Observer has the next best thing: Macklowe's 2008 plans for the Drake Hotel site, before his finances imploded. The 65-story hotel/office/residential building was going to be Valentino branded, then Armani, then, after both backed out, Bulgari. Thus concludes this throwback to pre-Lehman times.
