Trump Tower Apartment Finally Sells Over Ask for $13.3M

New, 3 comments

How many price changes does it take to sell a 4BR, three-unit combo in Trump Tower? We now have the definitive answer: six! Sort of. Unit 4849D in the 721 Fifth Avenue building has finally sold after a two-year, three-broker, multiple price cut saga. The combo apartment adds up to a total of about 3,316 square feet, and it sold for $11,500,000 back in 2010?down from an initial ask of $15 million. And that hardly counts, because the buyer threw it right back on the market for $12.9 million. It finally just sold for $13,300,000, $1.8 million over asking price, Real Estate Weekly reports. A bit of additional intel: a tipster points out that based on the LLC address on the deed and the name on the mortgage, it appears the buyer is Raymond Fidel, the CEO of DriveTime Automotive, a used car dealership catering to low income buyers. Who says helping others doesn't pay?
