Mark Ronson Puts Village Apartment on the Market for $1.995M

DJ, musician, producer, Grammy winner (in case the decor doesn't make it obvious) and pretty much anything else you can think of Mark Ronson is trying to sell his Greenwich Village digs. His 2BR, 1BA floor-through apartment at 69 Washington Place just hit the market for $1,995,000. A fun fact about this place: it was sold to Mark Ronson by none other than real estate legend and friend of Curbed Michael Gross for $1.8M. The apartment, co-listed by Raphael De Niro has some poetic brokerbabble, "Wake up every morning to the sounds of birds chirping as you access your lush private garden." So why does Ronson want to leave?
The Landmarks Preservation Commission recently approved an application for a one-story addition at the back of the building's third floor. Which might be an incentive for a downstairs neighbor to exit.
