Tenant's right advocate Sheldon Silver seems to doing pretty well for himself after helping lift price regulations in his building on Grand Street about 14 years ago. He won't divulge his role in the deregulation, but he stands to make a nice profitif he does decide to sell, since it'll go for hundreds of thousands more than he bought it.
