We've previously touched on the listing history of 15 Central Park West #27A, where it looks like the building's recent record setter inspired the owner to raise his asking price last fall from $25 million to $27 million. If there were ever a time for a buyer to take some PriceUpped bait?well, it wasn't now. The sale hit public record today, and the final price was a mere $24.5 million, a smidge under the apartment's lowest asking price. We don't feel too badly for the seller, who still paid only $11,709,875 for the apartment in 2008. Perhaps there's a lesson in this for the building's struggling FSBO, though: mood lighting doesn't necessarily help.
