Remember The Collection at Court Street? The building planned for 340 Court Street in Carroll Gardens inspired some neighborhood outrage, both for the original Rogers Marvel Architects design and the hole in the ground left behind when developer the Clarett Group shuttered its New York office. So can anything this building does make Carroll Gardens residents happy? We'll see soon enough: Carroll Gardens Patch reports that Prudential Real Estate Investors and the Davis Companies have picked up the site and plan to continue with the project. They describe it in a press release as a 32-unit condo with an additional 11 townhouses, retail, and parking. The amenities and apartment sizes will apparently be family-friendly. Will the neighbors finally be won over by a "for the children" argument?
