Pinwheel House Hits Market; Selling New York House Returns

New, 3 comments

The latest headlines from Curbed Hamptons, our outpost on the East End?

1) This is the Pinwheel House, the Water Mill home designed by starchitect Peter Blake in 1954 that looks like a pinwheel from above. It just hit the market, but it's only for sale with the house next door, for a total of $19.995 million. Too bad the house next door is a lot less interesting.

2) Another new-to-market house in the Hamptons is familiar because it made an appearance on Selling New York. At the time, it was asking $8.95 million. Now it's just $7.45M.

3) Tomorrow is the 80th birthday of the Big Duck. Many happy returns?
