A Clinton Hill Townhouse's Green Restoration

Though it may be playing second fiddle when it comes to Clinton Hill Townhouse renos, the Times took a look at a pretty impressive restoration of a Washington Avenue townhouse. Jenny Salomon bought the place for $1.7M back in 2007 and put a lot of time and money into getting the place in the shape it's in now. She decided on a green, environmentally friendly renovation which ended up totaling a hefty $700,000. Think it was money well spent? Some people definitely think so since it has a spot in the Clinton Hill House Tour. To decide for yourself, there's a gallery of the house here.
