At the beginning of our week of outdoor exploration, we visited Grace Plaza, the recently-revamped Midtown spot soon to be home to an outdoor cafe. But there are plenty of other, more hidden Midtown corners for sandwich-eating and people-watching. Curbed photog Will Femia went looking for those tucked-away spots, where there are also waterfall tunnels and funky statues to be found. In the gallery above, our favorites from a neighborhood not usually associated with the word "oasis." Have a sandwich in one of them for us, if you please.
