The latest headlines from Curbed Hamptons, our outpost on the East End...
1) This Southampton cottage, a circa 1880 structure known as "A Wee Ly Mor" last sold 80 years ago, only its first sale since the Betts family commissioned the place. It's now on the market for a rather shocking $17.5 million.
2) Japanese-born architect and sculptor Setsuo Ito has been trying to sell his 12,000-square-foot pad in Water Mill since 2007. It's a new season, so hey, time to try again! The property is set for auction on June 26, with 10 percent of the proceeds going to humanitarian relief efforts in Japan. Pony up, people.
3) Billionaire hedge fund honcho David Tepper tore down his $43.5 million Sagaponack house. He'll be replacing it with one nearly twice its 6,165-square-foot size, but in the meantime, here's a photo of the empty lot.
