Pricechopped Controversial UES Townhouse Sells for $17M

Back in 2008 we told you about 33 East 63rd Street's pricechop down from $20M all the way to $17,500,000. Streeteasy tells us the place sold in April of that year, but with no price given. Well, public records show the place just changed hands once more for $17,000,000. It proves once and for all that there are people out there who willing to forgive the renovation which controversially changed the facade from brownstone to limestone after all. They just won't pay $20M for it.
