A tipster mentioned that the Flatiron Hotel, on the market since April and perhaps about to sell to Hotel Toshi, was finishing up construction. We swung by for a look, and indeed, it's all happening in NoChe. The plywood's off the windows and things are looking more lively than they did on our last visit, with actual furniture in the lobby?and actual fish in that 20,000-gallon, two-story fish tank. Fish tanks are all the rage these days.
