Roosevelt Island's got more architecture than the creepy smallpox hospital featured in Grand Theft Auto's Liberty City. Architizer takes us on a tour to check out the under-construction Louis Kahn park, a wood frame house dating to 1796, echoes of Philip Johnson's masterplan from the '60s, and a landmarked 19th century church. Things take a turn back to creepy once the writer hits an overgrown garden, describing the island as an "architectural eulogy [meets] yard sale." [Architizer]
