Last night's Community Board 2 meeting revealed few new details about the proposed redevelopment of Brooklyn's Navy Yard. We're told the 75,000 square foot mega-grocery planned for the site will be one of the largest in New York City, though the retailer (either Stop & Shop or Shop Rite) is unconfirmed. Also still up in the air is the only thing people care about: the fate of the two dilapidated Admiral's Row houses that are maybe/maybe not being preserved. According to 'stoner spies, Navy Yard reps said it will cost an estimated $10-$15 million to rehab the two buildings.
