Wall Street 2 Penthouse Sells to Wall Street Exec for $15M

New, 7 comments

Shia LaBeouf's character in Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps lived in this 6,250-square-foot duplex penthouse at 31 West 21st Street?which gave the apartment's real-life owner, also a financier, the perfect opening to list the place for a whopping $15 million when the movie came out last year. (He bought the apartment for $1.4 million in 2003 and added the second level.) Apparently watching LaBeouf lounge around the place?which has an indoor entertainment area with wet bar, a 3,300-square-foot wrap terrace, a floating staircase, and plenty of wood-burning fireplaces?did the trick. The Post reports the property has found a buyer, another anonymous financier, for "close to" the $15M ask. Greed is good.
