Sure, the East River Ferry's the hot shit mode of transportation this summer, but if you have $15 and some (weekend) time to kill, the Rockaway ferry can offer some urban sightseeing of its own. Architizer has a photo tour starting at Wall Street, cruising past Red Hook's industrial waterfront, under the Verrazano Bridge (once the longest suspension bridge in the world!), past the Coney Island lighthouse, and all the way out to Robert Moses-era Jacob Riis Park.
