Temporary Keanu Crash Pad For Sale in Soho at $2.125 Mill

New, 7 comments

This unassuming Soho apartment mixes classic Manhattan loft tropes (exposed brick, metal door over the elevator, big ole windows) with a dash of celebrity lore: back in its bachelor pad days, it was home to Italian playboy and Ferrari president Count Giovanni. The current seller bought the unit in 1997 and now it's up for grabs for a $2.125 million. It's only been on the market for 19 days; does the price reflect its location on the Soho outskirts between Sixth Avenue and Varick Street? Apparently Keanu Reeves and Ted Danson didn't mind -- we hear both actors rented out the unit within the past year. (Separately, obviously.)

Bonus: residing in the apartment is a grand piano that's for sale along with; it's the second-largest Steinway model and, we imagine, a pain-in-the-ass to move.

Oh, and if that floorplan doesn't do it justice: hark! There's video!
