East River Waterfront Watch

New, 1 comment

It looks like the East River Waterfront might make two big strides in its long development. The first, Con Ed is giving the city $13 Million to help rehab a stretch between East 38th and East 41st Street, which used to be leased by the electric company. The second is the possible closing of the 21 street gap in the East Side Promenade between East 38th Street and East 60th Street by selling off UN buildings and razing the Robert Moses Playground (ain't that ironic?). Maybe the park will actually get done one day! [Crain's]
