Now Even 184 Kent Thinks 'Burg is a Family Neighborhood

New, 10 comments

We learned in January that Williamsburg is the city's latest Diaper District, with young families flocking there so that they can "feel sexy and single-ish, and then wake up next morning with the kid." To accommodate the influx of folks with young children, new condo Warehouse 11 walled off part of the lobby to create a playroom. But warehouse conversion 184 Kent is doing it one better! The building will soon be home to the River School, which just signed a 20-year lease for ground-floor space, according to the Journal. The school, which will open this fall or early winter and be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to fit the schedules of busy parents, will accommodate 100 children between the ages of 2 months and 5 years. Want to get in on this? It's almost too late?according to the Journal, there's just one unit left at the building, a top-floor 3BR for $6,000/month. Williamsburg has come far in the past few years.
