Looks like Langston Hughes has fallen out of the blessed circle of celebrity real estate: the late writer and activist's East Harlem townhouse is reportedly still unsold after a few false starts in 2010. It was first listed at $1.2 million in 2009, then 'chopped to a cool $1 million last year. The 20-foot-wide, 5-bedroom townhouse just off Fifth Avenue was built in 1909 and is landmarked, which may explain buyer hesitancy as the original details are still intact but needing restoration.
