$34M and a Teardown Later, What 777 Washington Looks Like

Photographer Albert Watson sold his epic 70'-wide townhouse at 777 Washington Street for $34 million, to an English financier who promptly tore the place down. He did so against Watson's wishes, but he promised to rebuild the place almost exactly as it was. We haven't been inside, so we can't vouch for that. But Curbed intern Michael Piderit swung by for some photos of the now scaffolding-free exterior. What $34M and a teardown can do!
