Sawtoothed warhorse the O'Toole Building finally did it: today the Landmarks Preservation Commission unanimously approved Rudin Management's plan to retrofit and re-open the 1963 Greenwich Village icon. The plan calls for a restoration of the facade to its original appearance (removing new tiles added in renovations over the years) plus the addition of a new entrance on its "uninviting" Seventh Avenue side.
