We lamented the loss this spring of 476 Broome Street, aka 62 Wooster Street, a planned luxury condo conversion with the A+ amenity of a private rooftop pool for each unit. The building fell into foreclosure and was picked up by a billionaire with unclear plans for the place. But we needn't have worried! Real Estate Weekly reports that the condo plan is back. With a few modifications?Costas Kondylis has been brought on to do a $25 million renovation of the building, and he now plans 10 units instead of five. "A rooftop pool and cabana, a legacy of Trinity's plan, are also part of the renovation," REW notes, but if they're not individual private pools, what's the point?
