We've been dreaming of the day we sit next to Mayor Mike Bloomberg on a flight his private plane. Guess we'll settle for the next best thing, AKA a five-minute video marketing the appeal of Lower Manhattan's "stunning water vistas and skyscraper canyons" and featuring Bloomie as tour guide. Downtown Alliance sponsored the video, which is part of the Delta Destinations neighborhood series profiling enclaves worldwide and shown on 17,000 flights per month. Wonder how the rest of the world feels about a 9/11 museum as rosy tourist destination?
