We fell for 162 East 92nd Street when it hit the market last September, with brokerbabble proclaiming the David Howell-designed property the "most architecturally stunning renovation of a 25 foot wide Carriage House in Manhattan." We've had our eye on it ever since, hoping our piggy bank would hit the $19 million ask before another buyer came along. No such luck! The sale hit public record this morning, and the place sold for $15.4 million. Not bad considering the owners spent $6.3 million on the place (then a three-family apartment building) in 2007. The sellers previously flipped 26 East 73rd Street for $18 million, so we're very curious to see where they turn their attention next.
