Hudson Mews is one of the West Village's only loft buildings, so it is reasonable that we'd go bananas over one of its elusive units hitting the market. This one is a 1-bedroom, 1.5-bath box apartment with a balcony and granted, the oversize, skylit living/dining room situation is a beaut. But $2.85 million with a monthly maintenance of $2,526 isn't for the faint of heart. On the plus side, the only other available unit in the building went to contract in less than month.
