WPA Pools Celebrate 75 Years; Griffin Court Almost 50% Sold

The summer of '36 was a toasty one (in fact, the city's highest temperature ever recorded, 106, was on July 9 of that year) and Mayor La Guardia OK'ed the construction of 11 public pools.
