Online retail juggernaut Gilt Groupe was blissfully unaware that when it rented a single-family home in East Hampton from which to host a summer's worth of exclusive soirees, they'd have to tangle with the town council. The town's Village Board has voted to seek an injunction in State Supreme Court to prevent Gilt from opening the house next week.
