Today the Journal delves into the sometimes troubled story of 139 North 10th Street, which developer Ramon Maislen purchased with the intent to convert into luxury condos or rentals. But Miaslen couldn't afford to buy out the building's tenants and lost a court case to force them out. Nor could he find funding, amid the bust, for the project.
