Domestic Disputes

The mega-wealthy majority owners of the Seagram Building hatched a plan to make some money off the iconic property: share a 49% minority share for $700 million. This did not work! Owners Aby Rosen and Michael Fuchs are stuck with billionaire partner Peter Brant and industry experts say the pair's firm RFR Holdings will have to lower the sale price from $1800/sq. ft. to a more reasonable $1200-$1500 a foot in order to push him out with an equivalent purchase price. This is all supposedly stemming from "disparaging remarks" made about Brant's no-longer-estranged-wife Stephanie Seymour. [Crain's; previously]
