David Byrne, former Talking Head and creator of the hipster bike rack, is bringing his latest public artwork to the High Line tomorrow: "Tight Spot," which will go up on 25th Street. New York Magazine describes the installation as a "48-by-20-foot inflatable globe, pumped up against the High Line’s steel framework, like an exercise ball smushed under a coffee table." An exercise ball that emits Byrne's voice. Terrifying! It'll be up for two weeks.
