This week's big fish in the Wall Street Journal real estate hall o' fame is an 18-room mansion in Katonah, north of New York City, formerly owned by Sony exec (and Mariah Carey ex) Tommy Mottola, on the market for $22 million. But! The story gets better: controversial ad man Peter Arnell bought the spread for $18.3 million in 2001, just as Arnell Group was bought by Omnicom. Since then, Peter's been ousted from his namesake agency, his wife was promoted as CEO, and WSJ profile promoting the sale doesn't even mention his name. [WSJ]
