Member fears about the National Arts Club's new look resembling a beauty parlor prove unfounded, but new president Dianne Bernhard has pulled off the literal and figurative housecleaning that has occupied the Gramercy club all summer. Deposed leader O. Aldon James left his rooms rather ratpacked but they've since been cleaned, stripped of Baroque wallpaper, painted, and reupholstered.
