Despite the rain and general grayness, last night seemed to be the unofficial kickoff of the fall real estate events season. Intrepid intern William Weber headed to Williamsburg newbie Jardin?which loses last night's Frenchification Watch Award to Monsieur Nouvel?to see just how neon green that courtyard is. The development consists of two buildings, one of which has balconies, on a quiet street. The garden gives the building its name?and an outdoor fireplace and water feature. Our intern's capsule review: "Well integrated into the scale of the street and does not have an in-your-face demeanor." And so far, it appears to be popular with the broker-hipster-yuppie crowd.
