Developer Harry Macklowe has big plans to convert 737 Park Avenue into condos?specifically, 103 units asking $2.9 million to $18 million?but first he needs to boot out some tenants. His company has filed a lawsuit against one couple living in the building, claiming they're refusing to leave their market-rate apartment even though the lease expired last month. Since this is what happens with market-rate renters, Macklowe's negotiations with the rent-stabilized residents should really get interesting. [Real Deal; previously]
