Earlier this week we found out about the great Jehovah's Witness sell-off. They're asking a combined total of $18.8M, but that number would be a lot higher if they were still asking 2008 prices on at least one of the buildings, the carriage house at 165 Columbia Heights. The 4,172 square foot home on a bucolic Heights stretch was asking a whopping $7,200,000 back when it first hit the market, as pointed out by Brownstoner. So, what do we think of the more down to earth $4,500,000? Still high, but hey, it's a big pretty house in Brooklyn Heights. Those don't come cheap, folks.
